Lisa A. Colten
Lisa A. Colten is a versatile senior level Human Resources Leader/Consultant and Career Transition Coach/Consultant with extensive experience identifying and solving complex organizational problems and issues. Her corporate experience includes HR leadership roles at American Express where she partnered with business leaders in multiple functions and business lines to drive and implement measurable change and achieve performance results.
Lisa is known for being a strategic, intuitive thinker in varied industry environments including financial services, travel, IT, government contracting and non-profit. One of her key strengths lies in creating positive relationships with business leaders and clients through collaboration, communication and strategy planning.
When working either as an HR Consultant or a Career Coach, Lisa enjoys interacting with all levels of employees from administrative and professional individual contributors to senior executives. She provides sound, fact- based counsel to leaders on why a particular initiative is appropriate for their organization and employees alike; as well as offers career transition advice and strategy to a downsized employee as they find new employment.

She has a passion for sharing knowledge with others and watching them engage, grow and develop as a result of their interaction.

Lisa began her career with The Pillsbury Company in HR generalist roles. Next, she spent almost 18 years with American Express, leaving in 2005. After that, she worked as an Independent Consultant, an Human Resources Leader for KnowledgeBank (an HR consulting and outsourcing firm) and in 2009 started working at Lee Hecht Harrison as a Career Transition Coach. She created and founded Éxzeto in 2013.
